Faraday Future

Jia Yijun's Faraday Future Robot Project Enters Second Phase with US Assemblies
In a recent statement, Jia Yijun detailed the progression of Faraday Future's (FF) robot business through three distinct stages. The company's lead executive emphasized the completion of foundational elements in the first phase.
Three-Stage Strategic Plan for FF Robots
Jia Yijun outlined a phased rollout for the robot project, designed to enhance US manufacturing capabilities. Initial deployments include the EAI brain, EAI industry solutions, developer platform, and data factory, which form the core of this initiative as per the announced roadmap.
The second stage centers on achieving Robot Physical Units with FCC-compliant components sourced and assembled in the United States, aiming to boost production efficiency. Jia stated the team is working to shorten cycles for local manufacturing.
Ultimately, the third phase targets full US manufacturing for both Robot Physical Units and selected parts from the FCC coverage list, solidifying FF's footprint in this sector. This approach builds on the company's long-term vision for autonomous driving innovation.
FCC Certification and Continuous Supply
Jia emphasized that all FF robot models sold have FCC approval, ensuring no disruption from regulatory changes. The company plans incremental certifications for future models to maintain market availability, capitalizing on its status as a Nasdaq-listed entity unique in the robot industry.
Robotic Sales Momentum
In terms of market performance, Faraday Future EAI robots shipped 152 units in July alone, setting a single-month record. Cumulative shipments reach 394 units by end-July, pushing steadily toward the annual target of 2000 robot sales. EAI stands for the suite of systems powering FF's autonomous driving applications, including platforms for data processing and industry integrations.
This progress highlights the project's maturation amid global tech trends, with no modification to external factors mentioned in official sources.
